Great Wine, Just a Bit Slow on Shipping
Compared to my last order from Duckhorn, AXR's shipping took a little longer than I expected, about 8 business days for my Proprietary Red Blend to arrive. I'm a club member, so the pricing is always good for me, making it about 25% less than retail. The wine itself is excellent, really a standout in my collection. I just wish they could speed up their delivery a bit, especially since other premium wineries manage quicker turnarounds. Overall, still highly recommend AXR for their quality.
Fantastic Experience at AXR!
My wife and I visited AXR Winery last week, and it was such a great experience. We were really impressed with their St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon, which was absolutely delicious. Estate Tasting and shipment
My husband and I did the Estate Tasting Experience last spring at AXR. The grounds were beautiful, and our host was very knowledgeable about their history. We enjoyed tasting several wines, especially the V Madrone Vineyard Cabernet. We decided to purchase a few bottles to be shipped home. The shipping was a bit slower than I expected, taking almost two weeks to arrive after the tasting, which felt a little long. Everything arrived safely, though. The wine quality is superb, as expected for Napa, but I do wish the shipping had been a bit quicker after an in-person purchase. Overall, a great winery and worthwhile visit.
